4,600th F-16 Production Milestone Reached with F-16 Block 70 Destined for Kingdom of Bahrain

 
GREENVILLE, S.C., July 21, 2024 – Lockheed Martin is celebrating the delivery of the 4,600th F-16, a single-seat F-16 Block 70 (serial No. 18-0006) for the Kingdom of Bahrain that will arrive in country in the coming weeks. The aircraft is equipped with the SABR APG-83 AESA radar, advanced avionics and a modernized cockpit featuring new safety systems and sophisticated weapon platforms. This achievement, as well as a 128-jet backlog for six nations, underscores the F-16’s growing demand and crucial role in national, regional and international security. 
Since its inception, the F-16 program has set the standard for a platform integrated by design. Fifty years later, it continues to build and sustain partnerships, harnessing its incredible capabilities to create an unprecedented peace-keeping network.
