Lockheed Martin Canada has been a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa; including being the main sponsor for the annual Military Week and Veteran Build Day. Veteran Build encourages Canadian Veterans, active duty military members and reserve members to volunteer on the Habitat Greater Ottawa build site and share in a unique experience while helping local families to find strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
This year, because of social distancing measures as a result of COVID-19, on-site events were cancelled. But this didn’t stop Habitat for Humanity from continuing to build affordable housing for local families throughout the pandemic and it didn’t stop Lockheed Martin Canada’s support for the community initiative.

Despite not being able to gather in person, we are grateful to have maintained some amazing partnerships across Canada – including our work with Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa!”
