Lockheed Martin Space High School Internships   ___

 

Where it's not what you know, it's what you can imagine.

Lockheed Martin Space’s High School Internship Program is designed to give students interested in pursuing STEM-related careers the opportunity to work with aerospace scientists and engineers. As a high school intern with Lockheed Martin Space, you’ll spend 9+ weeks during the summer working on world-changing projects and defense tech that help our customers stay ahead of ready. 

High school internship opportunities at Lockheed Martin Space are typically available in these U.S. cities:

  • Denver, CO
  • Sunnyvale, CA
  • Cape Canaveral, FL
  • King of Prussia/Valley Forge, PA
  • Huntsville, AL
  • Herndon, VA

Application Tips:

  • When prompted to input any college/university information, please complete the forms with intended/anticipated college/university information.
    • We understand this may not be valid for now; however, it will be the best way to get through the forms correctly.
  • If you are building your resume for the first time, consider adding any courses, clubs, sports, or other involvement that shows why you are a good team member.
  • After reviewing all applications, our team will be contacting those who have been selected to move forward for an official interview.  
    • If you are not selected to advance in the process you will be notified of this decision.  
    • All applicants should hear from the team by January 30, 2025.

Basic Qualifications

  • 16 years of age at start of internship
  • Currently enrolled in high school
  • Capable of demonstrating knowledge and passion for a career in STEM
  • Must live within a commutable distance from a participating Lockheed Martin Space facility

High school seniors graduating in May 2025 are not eligible for the high school internship program. Please explore available college internship opportunities instead.
